Production: Adding a Logo

After reviewing my questionnaire and my audience feedback on my posters I realised the thing missing from all of them was the Channel 4 logo.  In the majority of Channel 4 posters there is a Channel 4 logo to the right hand side of the image.

.

As seen in these images, most of the time the logo is adapted to be the same colour as the text box behind the title of the documentary, I wanted to mirror this technique.

I managed to do this on Keynote on Mac. I simply found an image of the Channel 4 logo online and dragged it to my desktop. I had to make sure I downloaded a logo with a transparent background as this would have been difficult otherwise.

I then found the matching colour of my text and made into a square image which I then multiplied, cropped and moved over the top of the existing logo.

After this I used the instant alpha effect on Keynote and removed the white part of the background from the slide. I could then easily drag this onto my different options for posters and this was the end result:

I will now conduct more audience feedback to see which poster is best suited for my documentary.
